No expert on wellies but recently bought and using darn good socks, which there was a thread on here about. I use their merino socks with a scats pair of cheap socks over them in muck boots. No cold feet yet. Heard that muck boots are anti fieldsports so when these die I will be on the lookout for an alternative

I used to use Muckboots………but tried Aigle Parcours (iso neoprene ones) and use them exclusively in the colder weather nowadays.
Also use the non neoprene lined ones for the rest of the year.

I always thought posh wellies were just for show... until I got a pair of Aigle Parcours Iso neoprene wellies - lovely & warm & comfortable, would recommend without hesitation 👍
My wife and girls have these

A good buy they are , but I'm a cheap skate

If it’s for yard work etc the Dunlop Thermo’s are amazing, but too clumpy for walking much in. If you need to walk in them, I just bough skellerup quattro sports on recommendation from this site and they are toasty warm and very well made

Grubbs Eskline/Snowline (8.5 I think) come out in the real cold, when the 3mm neoprene Veirizord wont cut it.

Quite rigid and heavy in comparison due to the lining, but they keep your feet nice and warm. One of my best buys.

Harkila Forrester warmest I've ever worn and no issues whilst I've had em great job for flighting ducks, driven pheasants and standing about trout fishing at this time of the year. Vibram sole's but too warm for big hikes, I use Altbergs for that 🧐

I have these, rated to -25°C. Have not had cold feet at all in the 6 years I’ve had them.

I use dunlop puroforts for farm use. They withstand a lot of abuse and Ive never had cold feet in them but then I do wear wool socks. They were roughly £60 last time I got some

Sorry but I disagree with all this expense - buy a normal pair of wellies (<£40 ish) maybe a size bigger than your usual summer boots and wear a second pair of wooly socks!

All wellies wear out eventually so its not really that onerous having two pairs on the go at once:

I have a pair of Lechameau Vizonard plus with the thicker neoprene - they are good but can be almost too warm sometimes and I find my feet move in them due to the thickness of the neoprene.

They have a little snowflake symbol on the side compared to the standard ones.

Regards.
