Evening all,

What weather apps is everyone using? Something reasonable accurate/reliable... I'm based in Aberdeenshire in the north east of Scotland. Just wanting to see what everyone is using as I know we can get all seasons in one day 😂 Preferably an app that suits android, thanks

If you are looking for current conditions, rather than forecast, try Davis Weatherlink, which shows data from individual private weather stations. There might be one near where you're interested in.

As already mentioned.Xc weather and met office are good enough. The best forecast was the fell forecast on ceefax. That was almost 100% reliable. Those were the days , four channels ,ceefax and rickets plus you could feed a family of four with a chippy tea without remortgaging your house .

I use Windy which seems quite accurate into the future and helps me decide which high seat is going to work best. Not sure if any good for the rest of the weather though

For general use, the BBC online service ain't bad. It's accurate for the next day. It's fairly accurate for the next few days and is as good as any other in the longer run. You just enter the location or postcode for where you want the rain.
