Can't decided which one to buy. Both British made and supposedly heavy duty and maintainable.

Anyone have experience of one or both ?

These are PTO driven hammer flails with side shift hydraulics.

My preferred tractor dealer can supply a Wessex, the Chapman would be elsewhere.

I don't have experience with Chapman equipment, but I have a rotary mower, and a paddock brush both made by Wessex. Quality and reliability is pretty good, and they use Honda engines. I wouldn't have any hesitations recommending them from my own experience

I have a Chapman. Well built and Chapman are very good for after-sales service. Wessex does also have a very good reputation though
