I received the smaller one the 3kg one a couple of weeks ago and very happy with it so far I only do 40 cases at a time and is perfect for that 3kg kt-6808

No I bought a half kilo of stainless pins - shorter than the smallest calibre you plan to tumble - avoids them getting stuck in case neck.
Half a dishwasher tab, warm water and that’s it.
Shiny brass, very important

Mmmmm....interesting. The 3kg one is only £53 on fleabay. Do they work okay? Might take a punt myself. Can't find the 5kg version.

I found the 5kg one on eBay but it’s £150 comes direct from we’re it’s made the the 3kg if your not bothered about mass brass cleaning then it’s the way to go I use 1 mm ss shot mixed with cleaning fluids of your choice the 1 mm ss shot balls clean everything

The 5kg model is much harder to find than the 3kg model for some reason. I bought mine via Vevor and it’s listed there, but no delivery to the UK, probably due to Brexit or something.

To make sure there is plenty of room for them to cycle properly, I wouldn’t put in more than 150, but if it was urgent you could squeeze in more. Possibly up to 200

Have you looked at the LEM product? A spinning turntable with neodyne magnets directly under a plastic bucket. I watched one running at the higher 2,800rpm at the IWA show last weekend.

I bought the smaller chinese tumbler off ebay, 3 kg I think, it does 50 .303 or 308 or 75 .223 with plenty of room for stuff to move around, I use pins and the bearing that came with it, setting 2 for 20 minutes, job done, it was a bargain.
