What are these batteries even (pard nv007)

My 007a takes button top or flat top batteries. But I invariably have to turn cap anti clockwise first to feel "the drop" before turning clockwise. I also put a bit of vaseline on the thread from time to time.

getting charges from touchy boy will result in quite a bit of hassle for me as a foreigner tho, I prefer to energize my night time peepshow in the EU

Just got in a stack of RPK mags from the UK and import duty was not fun

There are several different sizes of 18650 batteries depending on whether they are protected or non-protected and whether they are button top or flat top. Protected 18650 batteries are both longer and lightly thicker and won't fit a NV007 (or any other Pard unit requiring a 18650 battery). A button top 18650 will go into the battery compartment but it will not be possible to fit the cap (there was once a longer cap available). The standard Pard NV007 requires a non-protected flat top 18650 battery.

OK guys, i think i have tried anything with 18650 on it... nothing fits the battery compartment. Everything is too long.

The original battery says 18650.... but no 18650 i can find fysically fits.
Just looked at mine still original PARD flat top battery installed depress the spring with cap and then screw
