Worth a watch especially if you have a Lloyd rifle.
Those gun cullers in NZ shot tens of 1000`s with open sights as history shows. How many stalkers on here can say their rifle has shot 3-400 deer without needing to be re zeroed?
not many I shouldn't think - that's quite a statisticHow many stalkers on here can say their rifle has shot 3-400 deer without needing to be re zeroed?
And not just any Gunsmith.Apparently his original scopes can only be zeroed by a gunsmith as that is the way the rifle was built and you also have to buy the factory ammunition that the particular rifle was built to shoot so if that ammo is no longer available the chances are you may not find ammunition that shoots to the rifles zero.
clearly a system that worked - how things have moved on! great video to watch, really enjoyed that. Lovely looking rifle, especially that bolt handle.Apparently his original scopes can only be zeroed by a gunsmith as that is the way the rifle was built and you also have to buy the factory ammunition that the particular rifle was built to shoot so if that ammo is no longer available the chances are you may not find ammunition that shoots to the rifles zero.
I don’t think David Lloyd made scopes. He made heavy and poor mounts and a heavy and clonky rifle. I have shot a few. Ron Wharton who latterley owned them would say the same. A poor gimmickA little bit late, but there are a lot of myths regarding David Lloyd scopes, actually they are easy to adjust but need a light hand and a little patience, but when zeroed pretty much bomb proof in my own experience.
