What's your favourite beer when you have a "night in" in front of the telly?

Guinness. - preferably draught ( if possible poured properly in Ireland) :thumb:
A nice Whisky with a dash of Canada dry. :thumb:
A good single malt - with maybe a single ice cube. :thumb:

I don't drink ( last 18 years) never smoked as well, also never drank at home. However I soon found out larger gave me a dreadful hangover as did cider. Watching real ale drinkers was like a gathering of stamp collectors lol.
Vodka was the drink for me for quite a while but still got hangovers so I stopped.
A lager shandy with a sit down Indian meal is what I would have...

So my answer is tea 1 sugar blue top milk..

On hot summer day sat outside in the peace and quiet, it is hard to beat a seriously cold crisp glass of Bitburger. That stuff is soooo clean and crisp but full of flavour.

With a curry, Cobra.

Winter months, probably would opt for local Hook Norton ales which are all lovely

But let's be honest, they all pale in to insignificance compared to a decent bottle of Claret or Rioja.

Don't drink either; just water for me.

Even when I did drink I certainly wouldn't drink beer in the evening. Red wine would be my preferred choice.

Big fan of the Citra and American hoppy beers.

Currently quaffing Hobgoblin Gold and IPA. Both thirst quenching and very refreshing. +1 for Shipyard IPA. If you like these , then you will also be a fan of the Oakham Citra IPA.
All are brewed with a specific hop variety, and also have a steeping of dried hops in the post mashing process to up the bitterness.
