Not really a great drinker. In the house I may have a bottle or can once or twice a month. There's also a bottle of Glenlivet that occasionally loses a finger. As for the beer, it tends to be whatever is there and can vary from Guinness to Bud Light and anything in between. When I might find myself out, I'll usually go for an IPA (the up to date way of saying "India Pale Ale").

Speckled or Golden Hen, Ruddle's County, Boddington's or Courage Director's. Stella Artois if particularly thirsty. Only ever one these days. My own red wine from Beaverdale kits with bambi casserole.
it’s been a lifetimes work so far but I’ve yet to find a beer, or for that matter a whisky, that is undrinkable.
Wine is another matter, yes there have been some bottles where I’ve choked back the tears and poured down the sink.

Obviously spent too much time in Belgium as I keep getting mysteriously drawn into the world of Grimbergen, when you sit down in a bar and are faced with a beer menu it's only polite to try and work your way down it! After that, some of the German biers are good, then our own Northern Light or Arran Blonde...…. So many beers , so little liver!
Bottled beer wise Leffe blonde and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale are my two favourites for at home. I drink more wine than anything these days to be honest. Out in the pub if its kept right I can quite easily sup ale like a pig particularly Farmers Blonde brewed at Bradfield, or Moonhine brewed in Sheffield, lovely stuff!

Not all rocket fuels are equal! I don't do telly, and whilst there may be truth in Jockstalk's statement about no whisky being undrinkable, there's also truth in the view that there are quite a number which give whisky a bad name, but anyway - life's too short to drink bad liquor.
Or spend time drinking and laughing without "Polly Roger" ( - I feel it's never a great idea to drink alone, and best have a comely friend to share with):

Ale wise, Adnams Broadside, Theakstons Old Peculiar, Ridleys Old Bob, Guiness Foreign Extra. Anything dark and over 5% and I'm happy really!

Spitfire, Doombar, Speckled Hen, Directors, Godsons Black Horse (GBH!), almost ANY Porter, Stella Tortoise (a.k.a. 'Wife Beater'), 'Chinless', San Miguel, and many many more odd named, brown, still, alcoholic brews who's weird and wonderful name tags I have forgotten since drinking them - though NOT the tastes!!... Oh yes, and my rather toxic home brews. I seem to acquire a few more local friends than I recall liking who come round with their own tall straight glasses in hand each time I crack open a 5gallon barrel of said amber nectar. Because of this my brews are all too often one night affairs, Ha!

My local village serves various weissbiers and the Glossner brew from Neumarkt I.Op. Charges 4.80 euros for 2x half litres which is my usual limit per night. but thats in the pub, at home watching TV which is as bad here as in the UK a good single malt speyside for me with 2 drops of water.
