Which EV 🤢🤮to be used for field sports ?

Yeah I quite often see ‘one eyed’ Defenders on the road. I wouldn’t buy new but would go for an Approved Used with 2 years warranty for peace of mind & look at extending that or taking out an after market equivalent when it expires.

Is yours a standard D300 or is it the MHEV version?

I did precisely that, 18-months old so 18-months warranty left with 29k on the clock.

However, speaking to the local independent garage about the warranty having seen Defender's in there, the owner said I might wish to look into and consider the warranty very carefully as it's not provided by JLR, rather a third party who can be very hard to get to pay out. Two of his family members have Defender's which he looks after. I'm consequently thinking of not bothering with the extended warranty and just having him look after mine too.

Mine's a D300 X-Dynamic HSE.

They are since day 1 built in Slovakia so there is a totally different workforce mindset that lurks on in Solihull I was there in 2007 and I bet it has not changed.
