As somebody who has over the last 30 years + visited Scotland on a regular basis to fish, stalk and walk up grouse etc, as well as visiting close family members living in rural Aberdeenshire,
I am interested in who might be the new SNP leader, and what their and the new administration attitude and policies will be towards country pursuit's. My observations suggest that Kate Forbes is likely to be the most user friendly , she was born in the Highlands, and represents a rural Island community, albeit, in and area in the western isles infested with scummy salmon farming problems, which alas so the SNP do not seem too interested to do anything about. She is also it would seem the most likely to freeze out the bonkers green members of the Scottish Parliament, who Saint Nicky got into bed with, and who seemed to have a lot of influence in setting the anti field sports agenda.

Here's hoping🤞

As long range rob stated.....none of the above, it seems that the ever decreasing SNP membership aren't enthralled with the choice either. When you look at the rest of the SNP half wits in Holyrood, there wasn't many other options on the table!

If you think that any of the three stooges will be in any way better than Kim Jung Sturgeon for country sports then, with all due respect, you are deluded.

The SNP have stated openly and publicly that one of their goals is public ownership of the majority of land in Scotland. To do that you must devalue the big estates and encourage the owners to sell off (or embark on a Mugabe-style land grab...).

By destroying wild salmon stocks (encouraging open-cage salmon farming with little-to-no-regulation), destroying stalking (kill all the deer) and destroying shooting (license grouse moors out of existence) you remove the income streams from highland estates. Once there is no income you buy it up cheap, farm it out to NGO's to "manage" on behalf of the nation and, hey-presto, the Peoples Republic of Jockistan becomes the Utopia they envisage.....

Whichever of the hopeless three gets the nod will have to start with a new Communications Director as the present incumbent has fallen on his sword for being told to tell porkie pies! We wait with baited breath to see who told him to lie about the number of SNP members......I can't wait to see how many more .....errr.....interesting tales are going to come out in the next few weeks........:norty:

For the bulk of the SNP heartlands shooting is something synonymous with injectables.

No clue about the world outside a triangle between dole office, betting shop and off license.

Hence why these three are the ‘cream of the talent’

The solution comes in the form of two words;

Poll tax

My dog is smarter than all 3 combined and he isn't up to the challenge…..

And to the surprise of absolutely no-one.......The chief executive of the SNP falls on his sword as well! I wonder who'll be next in the complete disaster that is the Scottish Nasty Party - will Jimmy Krankie hold on or is there more to come......:norty:

In his resignation statement Peter Murrell said “Responsibility for the SNP's responses to media queries about our membership number lies with me as chief executive. While there was no intent to mislead, I accept that this has been the outcome.”

I guess when you can insist a man is a woman simply because he says he is, telling lies is entirely compatible with having no intend to mislead.

Murrell going was only a matter of time when everything started to unravel. The real question now is: who is going to jail first, and what for? There has been a lot of murky stuff going on.

Was it only three weeks ago that Nicola Sturgeon insisted that the SNP leadership election showed “a selection of talent on display”?

Little did we guess that that this talent would result in the destruction of the SNP’s credibility.

And all thanks to a chap in a blond wig and tights. :D
