just a question? one of my bitches has just had a litter and one is totally white is this rare.springers by the way.

I have seen some nearly ful white, so it's possible I'd think

You might see flecks through the coat as the dog grows. I had a bitch with brown patches only on the base of her tail and on her head. In summer coat you might have described her as 'flea bitten'. My current nearly white bitch has this effect when clipped.

As she grows you might see her mottling. Or maybe she might be snow white, only time will tell.

here's a picture, looks like a little white ferret
she only had five and the last one I had to use " feathering " to remove it from the birth canal unfortunately it didn't make it.
the sack and some muconium was delivered.
