I've eaten wild goat when necessary and been forced to eat young and old domestic animals. I assume curry would get rid of the smell and taste but never had that. To me gnawing the arse off a skunk would be preferable to eating goat.
I would be quite happy to eat wild goat. Currently catching a bit of sun and goat was on the menu last night. To be honest very similar to a cross mutton and lamb. Plenty of flavour no need for curry (although I like Nepalese goat curry) or any other strong seasoning. Just slow cooked on the bone.
Small goats I split in 3…shoulders,loin and haunches
The shoulders, spilt down the spine and trim off shanks and neck for stewing or burgers
You can bone and roll the shoulders for roasting but usually they’re not worth the hassle so just roast on the bone
