Hi,
I have just purchased another .22 and unfortualty the thread on my existing mod seems to be 1/2 UNEF. The new rifle is 1/2 UNF.

Has anyone used the adapters that wildcat make or suggest other ones that will work please instead of me shelling out for another mod?

Thanks

Why not get a new, additional, diffuser for it in 1/2UNF??

Great thing about the Wildcats is how easy they are to strip.

Baileys list them at £78, so should be available from your RFD.

I never even thought about swapping diffusers thanks Fixedwheel. I have just looked at the wildcat cub as a cheaper mod for it too. Any good?

I had a Cub, made out of Delrin, I think. Mine didn't come back apart after a heavy range session, so I got shot of it to a club mate, who I made well aware off the issue.

Hence I like the Panthers as you can get a specific spanner to separate the components for cleaning. I now have three of them, as I work towards each barrel having its own moderator.

Ah ok i think its the same one i was looking at. I will see about ordering a diffuser instead. cheers

the cub is discontinued, SAK is likely better anyway and think you cannot get a diffuser for a panther, but do let us know.

Spoken with my local RFD and cant source a diffuser but has sourced a Cub. SO going that direction. £46 quid i think.
Thanks all!
