Dear Stalking Directory members,
ATN is pleased to offer giveaway/competition for one and a half days stalking with ATN in Scotland for red deer (Argyll). This will be hosted by myself at a 1000 acre ground near Inveraray (mixed hill, wood and farmland), late September or early October this year (when suits the winner). The venue will be local and friendly and will offer the chance of a stag or two (hopefully - no guarantees as it is with stalking!), both in daytime, and evening time. At times this ground allows stags to be called in during the rut, which is very exciting! The ground is a farm based lochside venue, and will suit both beginners and experienced stalkers of all abilities and fitness levels/ages. - offering the chance to try an ATN X Sight 5, and to bring it home as part of the prize. You will not be required to use the ATN equipment, and you may bring your own rifle, but the ATN X Sight 5 day/night scope will be made available to see and handle on the day. The only thing required is to help drag/retrieve shot deer of course
. For relatively new beginners, tuition on stalking highland red deer can be provided by myself, including gralloching, etc.
We do ask one thing - please be able to demonstrate you are an FAC holder and that you have deerstalking experience.
I shall personally act as your host and guide on the day, and estate rifle (right handed), can be provided free of charge of course, with the chance to try/test shoot first if desired.
We will host you for two nights at the George hotel in Inveraray, and the trip will likely be comprised of meeting in the afternoon prior to the first day, one night at the hotel with dinner, one days stalking, further hotel stay and dinner, and an additional half day stalking the following day. You can return back via train/car/flight from Glasgow or Edinburgh as you see fit - I can offer transport pickup and drop off if required. Travel costs are not included in the prize however.
To enter the giveaway/competition - very simply, send me a PM titled 'Highland Stalking with ATN', and include your name and email address. We also ask to offer that you let us put you on our mailing list, but you can state you do not wish to be put on our database for mailers of course, that's your right. If you wish not to be on the ATN mailing list, this I promise will not affect your chances of being drawn as a winner, as it will be drawn at random.
Lastly, if you would enjoy, you may bring back (if you have suitable transport), any carcasses shot, free of charge. We will also offer to clean/boil and ship you any trophies you wish to keep, free of charge, mounted on a shield.
Winner will be picked at random on 31st July 2024.
