Well, they do something, and try to keep numbers on acceptable levels. wish our government would let us do the same.
By acceptable levels I mean a level where farmers can still exist, and wolves keep their fear of humans.

They breed quickly, here we typical see around 6-8 wolf cups making it to adult every year per breeding couple.
