Working beagles

Hi... A bit off topic, but if I wanted to acquire a working beagle pup from a pack how would I go about it.? I have tried contacting the master of beagles and harriers association but have had no luck..
I really want to stear away from show dog lineages available from kennel club breeders...
PS. I'm not from the UK, so it's a bit harder for me

Find a gun pack that are not affiliated to the hunt packs . A beagle will be quick a harrier a lot quicker.

I just find them too stocky and a bit ugly.

I rescued one from a pack - a runt that wasn't keeping up with her agegroup
Never got on with any of my other dogs and was a right pain, but gave her to a friend one on one and became a great search and rescue dog.
