Worth measuring this Red?

Appreciate it's difficult to tell from a picture, but do you think it would be worth getting this Scottish Red measured?
If so, any recommendations for trophy prep and scoring in the Kent/Sussex area?

Looks a great beast, sort the head out and weigh it then you’ll have a better indication.

I would say (entirely speculatively) that looks medal worthy for lowland let alone highland, no harm in getting it measured either way? Don’t be tempted to cut it, leave it whole and get it clean and go from there

Lovely head, north Scotland or south Scotland, there’s a different scoring criteria for north/south, get it boiled out and cleaned up, then leave it to dry out fur a couple of months and after that weigh it, anything over 5 kilo and you’ll be well in the medal categories.

Weight isn't that big a deal with red you get 2 points per kilo. But of course with weight comes bigger measurements on the antlers. But a skull cap mount would loose 1 point ish

In the wall, but not measured as yet. I believe the CIC scoring has lowered for Scottish stags, so he would probably make the grade now?

Brilliant animal regardless it looks well on the wall I say
