HI
Can anyone tell me if a firmware update is available on the wraith hd to give screen in screen sighting
instead of going up through the mags manually?
its not a problem doing it manauly but would be a nice to have screen in screen
Cheers

Hi Bruce
There is a firmware update part on the scopes menu and on the sightmark site but i dont want to update it unless it has screen in screen opposition
a few of my mates have had nothing but trouble after doing firmware updates on there scopes (atn)

OK, apologies for that, I expected there to be information on downloads on the main page of their website
Looking at the firmware page for the scope it says that the most recent update is from 23 July last year and was for "bug fixes" so unlikely to give you the function that you want
Surprise, surprise, people with an ATN scope that has problems with firmware (and probably a lot of other stuff) - I never would have guessed :D

Cheers

no need to apologies Bruce its not easy to find on there site
whats up with the ATN scopes? two of my mates had them freeze with sight pic still on screen
they seem to think the firmware updates just lay over the top though to speak of the old firmware and the computer side of the scope gets confused

ATN have a terrible reputation for reliability.
There have been 4 or 5 different distributors of their products in the UK over the years and all have given up because of the number of warranty claims and failed scopes.
Highland Outdoors was the last ATN distributor, but they also gave them up.
Their website still lists ATN as one of the brands they distribute but if you look at their list of ATN products, none of anything is in stock, and no time given for when they will be back in stock
It looks like Elite Optical (Optics Warehouse) are the distributor now
I've had 3 ATN X Sights, 1 worked as it should, the other 2 were complete disasters.
I would NEVER recommend that anyone EVER buy ANY ATN product.
Now, it's likely that one or more people will say that they have an ATN product and that it works fine.
I'm happy for them, but they are in the minority - more people have problems with them than don't

Cheers

Firmware update is available for the wraith. I updated mine few months back and have never had an issue with it before or after update. No picture in screen yet though

Sadly, your bad ATN experience is far more common than it should be for a supposedly commercial product
BTW, have a look at the ATN owners website - I've seen in busier graveyards :D

As per Gamekeeperwill, I upgraded the firmware recently, if you do, you will need to start from scratch on settings, including zero.

Cheers Will
