Yellowish colored liver in pheasant - safe to consume?

Hello everyone, well, i was lucky enough to take home a hare and some phaesants the other day, but when cleaning out one of the pheasants, i noticed that the color of its liver wasnt the usual deep red, but rather a yellowish colour. It was not spotted or anything, and its surface looked normal too, with no cysts, as did the bird itself, but now i am wondering if it is safe for consumption?:-|

What is the opinion of the SD knowledge bank, on this?

Thank you in advance! .-)
