A quick summary of my results with Yew Tree SuperX 6.5mm, out of my 21" barrel 6.5CM.
Load tested with Viht N140, found a good group easily.
Expansion test into drums of water, result above in pic.
Mv 2710fps, expansion test at 100m.
Very pleased with results, will use these to replace SST's
Any questions, fire away, but that's about it!

I use Vit150 for my 139 loads, no listing for Vit140, can I ask why you use 140 as not normally associated with 6.5CM

The 114 TLR might be a better choice for deer, less fragile, but still very good expansion out of 20" barrel speeds over N150

My use is AOLQ with the occasional deer. Had great advice from Richard at yew tree, he is using the superx in his 6.5x47.
N140 best for me as I have plenty, might get a bit more fps with N150 but I don't want yet another powder to stock up with. 2710 plenty of pace for me.
Best of all I now have N140 loads for my 204, 6.5 and 8x57 - all giving nice tidy groups at good speed.
I am very happy.

I know 😀, use 140 for my 223 and was hoping to use it for the 6.5 but found it too limited in bullet options, thought it was because 140 was too fast burning. Is that not why they designed 155?
Have you tried different powders? Would be interesting to see if the group size changed

Pop onto the viht site, N140 will work in 6.5 from 95gr up to 140gr bullets. Not always the highest velocity in some, but most certainly works well enough to be listed.
Not tried other powders, have an N555 load for the 123gr SST's that was good. I am happy with the N140 load for these yew tree bullets, and dont want to test further tbh.
