My name is Guy and I am left handed. My Avatar is the Divisional Insignia worn by my paternal grandfather during the Second World War. A very small tribute.
 
when i joined the forum i did an awful lot of lamping and a bit of a play on the name sir lancealot to which i have no conection what so ever
 
I don't think mine takes too much thought to work out its origin. But I don't have any at all now. So don't ask if I can supply any.

When I saw my first shooting related forum years ago I thought it was all a bit silly so thought of a tongue in cheek name just to get me on the forum. Turns out it and others since have been all right and helpful, but my profile had been started then so I have just kept it. With hind sight I would have used something different !

I used to work as a flying instructor at Coventry Airport. There was a local bizjet operator who used "Cloudhopper" as their call-sign and I liked it.

Mine is quite simple. My Father was french and named all 4 boys in our family with french christian names. At one of the places where I worked on a motorway maintenance gang I picked up the name "Frenchie" and it seemed to stick so just to help me to feel a bit younger (We're all allowed a bit of wishful thinking) I extended it to "Frenchieboy"!
