Zeiss Victory HT

Has any one had an issue with the illuminated reticule on the Zeiss Victory HT, mine just suddenly stopped working, changed the battery and had a play with the battery socket but still nothing, is there a known issue with these?

Mine developed a fault with the illumination - on say 3-6 mag then off 6-9 and on 9-12 - it then became random.

Essentially there is a contact ribbon that had broken and became bunched up causing intermittent contact/illumination.
