Zeroing & rests - recommendations

4" concrete is also ok as a platform to zero.
I prefer to zero and test off a cushion type rest which I sew myself and fill with plastic beads from an injection moulding plant.
I do quite a bit of testing with prototype stocks. Important is to be relaxed when zeroing. One will not always be on form and some days one will shoot way better than others.

I use and MTM predator shooting rest. It has an adjustable height on the front and has a back rest and is pretty steady.
