ZKW 465 pic rail options

Thinking of getting a Brno ZKW 465 22 Hornet for foxing on small properties. It's listed as a ZKM 465, which I think is probably a typo. In any case, if I'm going to be able to use it I'll need to find a picatinny rail to suit. And even then, it's possible, due to the bolt travel and throw, it might foul the scope - probably an Alpex 4k or Zulus 520 if the Alpex doesn't work. There is also a rear sight which may interfere with the Alpex unless I use high rings. Or I could use the zulus if this is an issue.

So just wondering if anyone else has one of these and is using with either an Alpex4k or Zulus? Am I likely to find a pic rail to suit? I've had a look at various pic rails, but can't find anything specific to a 465, guessing because of it's age.

I recently bought the same rifle, absolutely love it and having never used a double set trigger before I’m surprised at how quickly I’ve become accustomed to it.
I haven’t used dedicated NV but as you can see from the photo it is a rather high bolt lift. It only just clears the Pard adapter, even with high mounts.
A word of advice if you do take the plunge, do not lose the magazine, very hard to replace.

Yes, not sure about the double trigger arrangement, probably just take a bit of time to get used to it.
Yours has a threaded barrel, did you get that done or is that how it came?
The one I’m looking at is priced about the same as what a new 527 would be if they hadn’t stopped producing them. Can’t believe the prices they fetch.

Mine was already threaded but it was a gruesome sight, the crown was also in a right state because the previous owner left the mod on seemingly to prevent accidental damage to the crown.
The end where the foresight shroud would have been is a smaller diameter than the barrel and it was this that had been screwcut without a shoulder. It also looked like the foresight had been removed with a screwdriver and as much brute force as the owner could muster.
I had about an inch or so removed and then screwcut with a match crown. Unfortunately the front end rear sights are long gone but as I use a moderator it doesn’t really matter.

It’s a lovely rifle to use and I have to say that I’m now a convert to the double set trigger. The reason I bought this instead of a 527 in much better condition is that this was made in the same year as I was born, daft maybe but there looks to be many years left in the rifle.
