Has anyone tried this sausage stuffer?

Following a successful foray into the art of biltong-ing I'm looking to have a go at my first batch of sausages. This (see link) seems like a cheap way of doing it in combination with a no.10 mincer. Could anyone out there let me know whether this type of hand wind stuffer is worth a punt?

I had a very similar one and gave it away because it was of too small a capacity. I now use nozzles on my mincer, much easier.

I have one and can't fault it for the money, but as pinkfoot said, it has a rather small capacity. Can't complain though, as I'm only doing about 10kg of sausages at the time.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll only be doing a roe at a time so figure it's worth a bash.Got one for £15 on Amazon.

its fine ,got mine from a carboot £2.50 ,as stated its not a big capacity but ok for home use .easy clean and hand wind so works at your pace

Well I got it and used it - it works a treat. One fill does 6-8 sausages. Highly recommended for the price.

I can confirm that the sausages taste as good as they look!
