Vegetated or Marmite for scent shoes

With marmite difficult to get hold of due to supply problems and intransigence of marmite miesters has anyone tried vegemite to smear liberally on the bottom of scent shoes for tracking training? I understand that marmite is very well respected in at least 15 countries, but vegemite is also eaten widely. It is readily available and tastes pretty similar too...... what harm could do to blend the lovely yeasty product??

It's the only thing Vegemite is good for. Love Marmite but Vegemite tastes like the scrapings from the fridge salad drawer

I have a small stock pile of marmite, can I eck out the marmite supply by mixing it with vegemite or are out crossing verboten?

First five shots were touching. After that though, the hatred made my hands shake

If it is for scent tracking training you won't beat liquid aniseed. Used, once upon a time, on gone to ground foxes bolted by terriers by all the best hunts...
