Sounds like a great way to solve a problem and they will make money
out of it, typical American / Texan way of dealing with things
1/ we have a problem
2/ we have found a possible solution
3/ can we make money with this solution
4/ ok let's get the wheels moving to make it happen
if only we had the same attitude over here

Ever thought about the saying, discharge your weapon safely upwards!

Watching the video made me cringe. Not possible to know for sure what calibre he was using in his AR-15 but let's assume it was .223, whatever it was it hardly recoiled. Not appropriate on animals like that in that situation in my opinion. Lots of very long slow deaths.
