Vegans beat us again.

Not sure if you have seen this, but for those who missed it.

A school that had bought some pigs to rear, slaughter, eat and sell has been pressured into giving the animals to an animal sanctuary as one of the vegan parents didn’t like what the school was doing!

The Vegan parent got 20,000 signatures in 24 hours and handed it to the school.

I really feel that the school should of stud its ground rather than bending over and taking it!

Some of them really are a bunch of condescending sanctimonious ass-hats

I've not issue with people being vegan, if you want to be then fill your boots. As soon as it becomes a fundamental part of their personality, their raison d'etre and they start bullying people into submission then I lose my rag entirely.

I think shooting and hunting is the way to live but you dont see me forcing rifles into peoples hands and insisting they go out stalking!!

As much as I hate Piers Morgan, he was on the button with this Moron. Yet another fashion nazi with the mantra “I don’t like it so I’m going to ban it” ask him this “ what happens to the animals if he gets his way “. It won’t be a retirement home will it?

My input is to let us all wash up on a desert island. Its a choice of either live off phuckn coconuts or try some of this delicious 'cooked in the coals roast goat!'

I can see it now " omg this goat is delish"

Sanctimonious ****s. I would have literally slaughtered the pigs in front of her just to prove a point.

On a morw serious note note I find it deeply disturbing that a parent has such power to undermine the education offered by the school as that is what this is.

The worlds full of wetters. The sooner we have a civil war the bloody better the earth will be without these social justice warrior cretins.

I feel for you blokes, UK society is being held to ransom by facebook “petition” wielding change.org hippycrits.

Mind you, didn’t some of us use change.org to get those military dogs rehomed? Must remember that...

This one though is a classic example of a tiny minority using “social” media to whip up a frenzy of air-headed morons seeking out 60 seconds of cathartic hand wringing anxiety and introspection, as long as it takes to read the plea, click the button and move on to More News About Kim Khardashian’s Arse. Signatures? These petitions aren’t getting signatures! They are getting clicks, same as “likes”. Aaarrggghhh! I despise that word. I am going to become the Anti-Like.

Our kids’ school rears chooks, lambs, calves and grows a tonne of veggies. If anyone in our community suggested something as farcical as this, we’d start rearing pigs just to feed them bits of protagonist hippycrit. This kind of thing is reaching critical levels in society across the supposed “free” world. We’re being bullied into PC outcomes we didn’t ask for and don’t want by sanctimonious, pompous, self-righteous, middle-class leftist busy bodies.

If there's no goats, then coconut fed 'long pig' would be next on my menu...

Starting with the sheila`s first!

Dave as you know I have been hunting to NZ a couple of times,I love the place and its people AND also its no ******** rules on hunting/firearms etc.

This self righteous attitude makes my blood boil, sadly its becoming the norm through social media channels as the indignant and vocal idealists get support from their followers.
What I would like to know though is how much of Mr Vincent Cooks boat building business follows his principles to the same level of vegan perfection? Im no boat builder but Id love to know where mahogany, teak, plastics, glues etc fit in? are they all squeaky clean products? Id assume he never uses leather in his cabin seating of course.

We are definitely on the same wavelength regarding such matters! Sadly our politicians seem to think it’s all wonderful democracy in action. It pains me to see them sat in the House of Commons debating chamber tapping into their phones the latest tweets instead of listening fully to the speaker and participating in informed debate. I fear that UK Society is being irreparably damaged by minorities using social media to distort the true situation.

Something i live by is the famous quote "I believe in free speech and ill fight to the death for your right to say i am wrong"

But the whole death threats thing is insain.

I personally think the school was doing something amazing as we have bread a generation of kids who believe meet comes from Tesco cellophane wrapped.

Strangely, i feel the process is likely to trigger many to go vegetarian so I am not so sure why he was against it.

Most cant handle the truth about meet. I had a friend take the fast track to promotion by becoming a meet inspector during the BSE crisis. He worked in an abatwar for about am month, then became a veggie.

Due to factory farming practices i try and eat free range eggs, and due to the god awful way scallops are dredged, I only eat diver caught scallops. I suspect if I got the inside track on slaughter houses id only eat meet i shot, but the overwhelming tissue is, id never stop eating meet.

I am against factory farming but I wrestle with the hard truth that we are overpopulated and need factory stile food production to cope with demand.

After 30 years in the meat trade and never tasted Goat. I think it's time ! Looking forward to it .

I eat quite a lot of goat (married into a West-Indian family) and to be honest, if you were told it was mutton, I doubt many could tell the difference.

I always ask for it if it's available - unless there is an option of venison!
