As you state land owners are keeping quiet as they are waiting on a more lasting adjudication before going vocal,
I totaly agree with that, give the legal process time before we start jumping up and down online
untill the people who are being affected by this and waiting on the legal process, start to complain and ask for support, " not journalist looking for glory" we should stay out of it,
by all means keep an eye on thingsand make sure another Mugabe type land grab does not happen

Sorry my friend but that is shutting the proverbial stable door.
Just look at every country in Africa. It started in Kenya, Uganda, Congo and just carried on. Rhodesia was Classic and we made a complete balls up of that, allowing that piece of Hyena excrement to take over the country which fed a number of other countries. South Africa is a powder keg and when it blows the white population will be wiped out. Why does the world have to wait and watch these various persecutions, we were quick enough to condemn white South Africa.

You can write to your MP, MEPs and the House of Lords. Doing so does make a difference, particularly if you are clear and rational without ranting. Also you can use all of your digital footprint [Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc] to share objective reporting such as the OP in this thread. [One barometer of social media effectiveness: Tommy Robinson now has over 1 million followers]

Not all of my friends share the outdoors or deerstalking as an interest. For some, natural surroundings would be the Albert Hall, for others it might be Ascot or Hackney market. To reach them on matters of common global/social concern, I would use whichever platform is most apt for each one.

Democracy only works when everyone is informed, and then uses their voice.

Tommy Robinson may be socially effective with over 1 million followers,,,,, but he is still in prison, so not very succesfull for his family

After all, as investors they virtually own SA...they have no issues eradicating endagered species for some pinch pot grinds to thrown in the tea..do they care about a few farmers getting screwed so they can be assured of mineral and resource supplies, no...even better, the SA gov will front the controversy

Some inaccuracy here: Robinson is currently a free man pending retrial. I doubt whether he would be free right now without the huge weight of global scrutiny of the injustices heaped on him. The MSM lied about what he had done, lied about his trials, lied about his politics. A myriad social networks supplied the truth around the world.

With regard to South Africa, Akkerland Boerdery have been locked in legal dispute with the government since being served with expropriation notice in April. That is just the first property. A whistleblower within the government released a list of 190 properties on the SA govt "hit list" for expropriation.

And that list proves the SA govt lie: this is not about redressing apartheid era land seizures. Many properties on that list do not have indigenous peoples land claims registered against them. Some are already part owned by black South Africans. This land grab is either a repeat of Mugabe-esque cronyism, or the SA govt is looking to hock the "family silver" to service foreign debt. Probably an unhealthy mix of both.

Now is the right time to raise our voices. Not later.

Every time something goes wrong it's apartheids fault yet these okes have been in power long enough to make a difference if they wanted to. Many are emigrating, those that can afford it and qualify... Those that can't or won't for the love of their homeland know full well this is another Zim in the making but we remain hopeful. What the west does not understand is that African culture is not a culture of taking care of the people. It is one of self enrichment and seeing how much you can get away with. The African leaders for the most part have long ago learned how to exploit western democracy and ideology. In the case of farm murders, they are not directly sanctioned by government but the government is responsible for the racial devide and, having ruined the police and justice system, they have created an environment where criminals can conduct business against the "oppressors" as they see fit without fear of retribution. And there you have it, a genocide that cannot be called that by its strictest definition but the results are the same though it takes a bit longer. Apologies for the rant. I live a bit closer to the mess.

I was in Cape Town in May and it was kicking off in Khayelitsha township. The locals were barricading the road too Sir Lowery's pass and throwing bricks at cars. All the police did was disperse the crowd. Those rioting also burnt a school down and set fire to the buses that take the kids to school. Several gunshots were heard in the night and I asked if the riot police will be sent in? That got a look of confusion from the lady I asked and I told her if it was in the UK the rioters would be on the end of a baton and arrested and charged. She said that wouldn't happen in South Africa and the police just move the trouble makers on.
I asked what the issue was and told that people were promised an education, jobs and houses by the ANC many years ago, this did not occur and the masses blame the white man for all their troubles.

The situation is made worse by 'affirmative action' as jobs at all levels will be given to blacks even if totally unsuitable and with a limited education. Being white and male in SA now I was not a good situation where jobs were concerned.

A really sad situation as the blacks I met were lovely people but being exploited by those in power, there is also a race battle going on between the blacks of SA and those coming in from Malawi and other countries and working as seen as taking their jobs.

I was very surprised to hear white South Africans stating that if it got worse they would be straight out of the country and claiming political asylum.

South Africa is on a dangerous path but it just isn't getting the news coverage.
