Last three outings have only grassed dog foxes, distinct lack of Vixens hereabouts

Any one getting any vixens still

Yep
Weather has been atrocious with gale force winds, rain and sleet, it all helps to improve the concentration. :D:D :tiphat:

Had a vixen the other night she was heavy though wouldn’t be long before she was below ground

Had a paired up dog and vixen a few nights ago and she wasnt showing signs of being 'in the club' and I gathered she must have been barren this year. Took a vixen last week and she was heavier in the belly so probably not oong from taking a rest below ground.

The past few weeks have been quiet with the weather being awful, the Last 3 vixens I have shot have all been barren, a bit strange really you would expect them to be getting heavy by now. Barren vixens tend to give our hill farmers the most stick at lambing time too.

Shot a vixen today. Came across her sleeping as I was stalking through hardwood trees. She had 4 cubs in her about the size of a fingernail

Shot 2 pregnant vixens last week pregnant but no sign of lactation so couple of weeks off. Week before we had 3, 1 barren 2 in cub.

Would think it will be end of March down here in S Glos.

Mainly dogs in the last couple of weeks with a couplevof barren vines, won't be long before cubs startvyo show down here.

Definitely quiet on the vixen front, had a little look last night on a perm the other side of canterbury on way home for a couple of hours didn’t see a thing

quiet on all fronts here covered some amount of ground over the weekend all i seen was 5 foxes definitely vixens around here are gone to ground. going to a sheep farm this week normally its fox central down there.

Saw nothing last night highly unusual but was very bright. Talked to somebody in the know they thought they should be bellow ground by now.

Had one last week (Milky) but can't find the earth anywhere on us or on land in the direction she came from. From the look of her they were very small.
