There are no cockneys anymore. Their home city has been requisitioned for other purposes and the natives have all moved to Essex or Spain. The old accent has disappeared and everyone in London now talks like gangster rappers. The east end is more like the middle east end and if you see a cockney there he'll either be a delivery driver or lost.
