Anyone use a Blaser in two calibre’s and one scope?

I am thinking about getting a Blaser in .308 and then getting a spare barrel, bolt head etc in either 204 or 223. Ideally though I would like to just have one scope and mount. Obviously the different calibre’s will have different ballistics, but I was wondering if anyone makes this work in the real world?

In theory with a bit of range time and testing this could be made to work, but I wondered if anyone actually makes with work and has the confidence to just change the setup and go shooting.

Do a search on here. The question has come up fairly recently and some have had success doing it. Others said it was too much of a faff.

Blaser themselves say the return to zero is only for one barrel and scope combination I seem to remember.

As long as you remember the clicks required to re-zero between your barrels and the scope itself is up to it you should be able to do it.

Looked into this with a sauer and you can do it using a ballistic turret also one set of marks for each calibre

I have a R93 with a Swaro Z6i 2.5 15 56

I have the ballistic turret set for my three barrels 243 6.5/55 and 308

0 is 243, yellow dot 6.5/55 red dot 308

windage is the same for 243 and 6.5 55 but 9 clicks right for 308 at 100m

The Dentler system seems the way to go.

Yes I did watch the YouTube video and the system looks perfect for the job. Pricey but everything that involves a Blaser is expensive.

Tried it before with an R93 - didn't work, so I finished up with a scope on each barrel and that was completely reliable.

I know a few people who have tried various options with interchangable barrels/scopes ect. I think every one of them has ended up either getting another stock and action or leaving one barrel permanently in the cupboard! It is simply too much hassle. Just buy two rifles!

The only time I can see it working is if you had one set up as your main rifle then put a different barrel on for the odd trip abroad or something like that.

To be fair, thinking about it, I do know one guy that has a Blaser in 7x64 as his main rifle (with a normal scope) then puts a 9.3x something or other on for tracking injured deer (with an Aimpoint). It seems to work for him but I still wouldn't do it.

I have a professional success in .243 and .308 and I have a zeiss V6 scope with ASV. I zeroed the 243 and put the ASV to zero, then I know that I have to click it up 5 clicks for 308. Been using this system for a couple of years now and drummed it into my brain and haven't been caught out or forgotten to dial it up or down. Works fine for me

Moved the summer scope from the R93 .243 attache to the R93 6.5x55 professional, POI was as good as identical for both; must have been lucky!

Better to go .22/250 instead o .204 or .223 save on bolt head . I use an R8 in 3 calibre with 2 scopes. I count the clicks and check zero

I run a scope for each barrel, already owned them prior to going the Blaser route. Can't help but think that using one scope for multiple barrels would at some point lead to problem, unless you have something like Chasey uses. Also for me, I've tailored the scope to fit the caliber for my situation, 4-16x on the .270, 3-10x illuminated on the .308, 4-14xon the .243.
