Just a quick question on vmax bullets did hornady ever make 53 grain vmax
Bullets
I recently loaded a 100 hornady that i had sat on the shelf for years
I normaly use 55grn but somehow ended up with a box of 53grn
When i looked in the manual it only showed data for amax
I had already thrown the empty box but am 99% sure it said vmax and not amax

53 grain Vmax and 52 grain Amax in .224
Near as damn it the data is fine for either.
Usual precautions apply

Yes they do, mine is a 1:12 and it shoots 53g Vmax very well just not quite as well as 55g SBKs

You would belucky if the 53 grain did not weigh 52 grains and visa-versa. Load data would be interchangeable.~Muir
