To shoot and take away would only be possible in UK really.
Driven Boar trips abroad give you the opportunity to buy joints to bring back if it is an EU country with all the checks being carried out.
As for the cost of Driven trips, they can vary between £1k for 3 days in open forest to £2k in open forest depending on which UK agent you use.
Then there are what is called 'High Volume' hunts where the Boar are fenced and guaranteed to be presented to the guns.
That can cost anything between £2.5 k to £3.5k again depending on which Agent you use and the country you go to.
Different Agents have different 'Expenses' and varying profit margins depending on how difficult they find the trip to organise.

Been shafted a couple of time by so called good outfitters in Europe so do not go that way anymore, we have them running around my village in Bavaria anyway, you just need to be able to do 30 nights a month out on high seats to get success.

I paid 2k for a trip and only saw a Squirrel but it was a red one so quite pleased about that.
I now have contacts that quote me what some of the UK agents pay them and, apart from the hassle with flights from UK, can get trips a lot cheaper.
Can't guarantee lots of pigs and that everybody will see/shoot a pig but the price is worth it just for the 'Holiday' and the chance of seeing/Shooting one.
The last trip I organised was a two day one and all we shot on the first day was 7 pigs but that was for 55 shots so there were pigs being presented to the guns but the shooting was Carp !!
The second day we had 29 pigs on the ground and I gave up counting the shots after 55 so again there were plenty of opportunities to shoot pigs.
The cost was less than 1k Euro
The interesting thing is, that since going with my local contact, he has taken me to places that I visited when using a UK Agent at almost twice the price so I can only imagine what profit they made.

I book direct with a Hungarian agent. The driven boar is only a part of the shooting he offers. Its also done on sliding price scale so the price depends on the bag. The last trip there were 64 head shot over 2 days hunting, boar and red hinds. Cost 1400 Euros. No trophy fee on big boar and fox and jackel free.
Looking forward to my visit in December.
Yesterday i did a driven day with a forestry, hunting college. I saw plenty of game and shot at 2 small boar. I can only think there is something wrong with my scope . One gun shot a terrific gold medal roe buck. Cost was about £350 including a really good lunch. Driven boar is not cheap but there is good value to be had out there.
Looking forward to my visit in December.

Very very much depends on who, where and what. If you are lucky, like myself, you end up getting to know a group of local hunters and its minimal cost. My German friends come across to hunt in Scotland on my ground, and I go there with other friends to shoot boar. Cost is essentially a few bottles of Malt to lubricate the friendships. Mostly we are doing deer or boar management and the focus is on achieving the cull. Mostly on driven boar is 20 guns, and 10 dog handlers and the bags are typically half a dozen to 20 animals. Its the equivalent of small informal phaesant shoot.
Trophy fees are very much a question of who owns the land and the shooting rights, and also government / state involvement. Often on state lands there can be quite high trophy fees for particular class of animal.

Err think I'll stick to shooting (boar and sow) Moles for a while
