However you if you can get some cheap green wood then it can be quite cheap. You can even afford to lash out and buy some lazerlight or tin roofing to keep the rain and sun off. :cool:

Tim. It's handy to practice taking a shot off your right shoulder. I'm certainly prepared to swap to my left shoulder if the need arises. Regards JCS

The stand should be designed so you can stand, turn and shoot if necessary. Trying to shoot your non natural side is a bad compromise.

If anyone is interested I can supply pdf-plans for two timber models. One small problem is that they are in Swedish. On the other hand the plans/drawings are very detailed, with parts lists and dimensions, making them quite easy to "decipher".

The boys took a pic in the middle of building what I called the 'luv shack' as a schitt stir.
Obviously vehicles are parked well away. The mate had a sambar stag walk out of the bush and stand UNDER the seat one evening.
Same mate shot a stag from there on a target wallow. The stand is sited a decent distance back from the wallow of course.
Carpeted floor,swivel office chair on wheels,pop out windows,swag,sleeping bag, pillow,pi$$ bottle blah blah blah.
Get inside in the arvo,watch till dark,hop into the swag for a good nights sleep and up pre dawn for another round.
