On a serious note, does anybody else find that it's mainly the older folk (the highest at-risk group by far) who seem to be extremely reluctant to comply with the lock-down and are offended by restrictions on their freedom?

Sorry but I don't think it's mainly the older folk that are reluctant to comply! Most of those who do not want to comply (In my opinion) are the younger ones that think it's their god given right to do whatever they want whenever the want to regardless of what the authorities say!
Edir: Please don't get me wrong mChavez. I am not saying this to start an argument, I'm just saying what I see going on around me!

Yes 100%. l have 2mates in their 80s.Ist one keeps going out shooting in his vehicle,2nd is a part time river keeper who keeps driving daily to different ponds,lakes,river looking for cormorants.His boss has told him he will be ordering fish to restock with next month.you can’t make this **** up.

Spent a good hour talking my folks out of doing several walks a day in addition to a daily shopping trip. Neighbours passing my house several times a day. One neighbour outraged at nanny state government telling him what to do.
Couldn't make it up.
