Dominic Cummings clash fan or not ??

he has one thing in his favour, he makes Boris look well dressed.
Other than that he has no morals, give him a sword and make sure he falls on it.
Boris has lost his...............whatever he should have, but doesn't have it.

do we all not remember all the posts on here from lads who wanted to go shoot a fox or magpie , being told no stay at home what happens if you have an accident or some such mishap , well all that and more applied to mrC except to make it even worse he knew he was probably going to be getting sick and his mrs was already . .

Do you think the dozen or so reporters who surrounded him and certainly breaking every rule of social distancing be brought to account?

Now you have got me confused. Egocentric? Superior? Where do those come from?

If I disagree with the things you have posted, and explain why I disagree, is that not just the normal debating process of the forum?

Alan
Alan, it depends upon who you debate with on here!

You want me to explain that further? I will give it a go...

What has your comment regarding the nurses to do with the theme of this thread which is whether or not Dominic Cummings should go? Some apologists for Cummings' actions seek to prevent his censure by citing other more important issues as though they were mutually exclusive. It is not either sack Cummings or save the economy or sort out the £120 issue for the nurses...why not do all three? Diverting attention away from his actions and to a separate unrelated topic is the verbal equivalent of smoke and mirrors used by magicians to misdirect the attention.

Any clearer? Still not an attack on you was it?

Do you think the dozen or so reporters who surrounded him and certainly breaking every rule of social distancing be brought to account?

If that is a question to me...

Too bloody right I do. Ridiculous.

So the country is staring down the barrel of an italy style disaster. Covid cases are rising and there is fear of where it will end. Somebody knowingly takes an infected case and moves it to an area of low infectivity not knowing if they will need hospital care and therefore increase the chance if spread.

Cummings made a massive error. Put thousands of people at risk. Ignored Department of Health guidelines because he was worried he could not look after a 4 yr old FFS.
Sorry he needs to go.

Regardless of your politics Cummings put the people of this country at risk. As a healthcare worker he put me and my nurses at risk. If he were Blue, red, yellow or any other colour my feelings would be the same. In late March early April things were looking bad this man knowingly spread this virus around the country. He is tantamount to a murderer. He goes NOW.

Just in case you missed it, Boris Johnson this afternoon showed just how much indifference he has and the contempt he holds for the British people.

Absolute sh!t show - blindly following this lying and immoral elitist twerp will not save you when he and his cronies turn on you or turn you against your own; and they will - they always do.

One thing you cannot escape from though is your legacy, and how history will judge you. He has massively missed the 'Churcillian' epoch he so clearly craved; would Churchill have ducked and dived and been absent? No. Even Nicola Sturgeon has spoken to the people of Scotland every day (correct me if I'm wrong). When what has happened and the decisions that were taken comes out in the wash, I personally believe that Johnson will (should) have a terrible weight on his conscience - adult social care / care home tragedy, lack of serious consideration for BAME NHS and key-workers etc - let alone sticking up for his errant pr!ck of a side-kick Cummings :old:

Assuming one is sufficiently intelligent to recognise that two parties independently isolating are unable to pass the virus on to one another after the initial safe quarantine time has been exceeded, the advice is somewhat otiose, no? So if you and your kinfolk holed up elsewhere have been careful, there's no reason not to go and give them a hug.

Trouble is, many are insufficently intelligent, and/or very possibly insufficiently careful.
i think you are missing the point, children may have the virus and show no signs whatsoever, there is no clinical evidence that even after isolation they are free of the virus and cannot pass it on, and remember Cummings did have symptoms, and to then go to his parents who are in the vulnerable group, shows a senseless attitude to the situation,

He is what he is, a buffoon, people need to look back at some of the things Boris has done in the past, the man is a prig (and that's me being polite).
We came out of the EU for several reasons, one of which was that we didn't like being ruled by people who were not elected by us, so why has this dick head Cummings got so much power over the PM??????

Still not an attack on you was it?
Like my quote said attack on my opinion! Never mentioned me?
I'll try and explain, Boris spent 45mins this afternoon answering questions over and over again about Mr C , Yes he did wrong and he will properly see his due but what a complete waste of time when other things need sorting now, my Wife is 1 of 300.000 nurses who have to pay £120 every year just to care for people and I think thats criminal , it was just a rant maybe not for this thread but I believe with many other issue's need sorting rather than spending all the time talking about one person idiotic mistake weeks ago. Rant over

FFS see this for what it it is! A storm in a political tea cup. Compare his family based misdemeanour with the rabid behaviour of the press determined to bring not only him down, but to do as much political damage as possible.
