How many people have more than one dog? What do you use to disenfect the kennel/run?

I am considering setting up a business to import and sell a disenfection gun that attachs to a garden hose and uses solid tablets. Doing some market research.

To be fair I just buy the pine disinfectant (around £5ish for 5L) and then use a mini sprayer after a wash down, keeps it nice and fresh. How much would these be?

I use the safe 4 disinfectant, it’s very good but ok to leave wet with the dogs back in.

Tablets are about 50 pence each and last ten minutes depending on water pressure and temperature. Once the tablet is started it has to be used. The disinfect and eliminate odour.

It has other sanitation uses, dog kennels are just one.

I understood Jeyes poisonous for dogs?
S

I understood the same
I certainly wouldn't use it.

Wot sort off money is the adapter?
Sounds a decent enough system.and not a lot of money for the tablets.
How long do the tablets last when kept dry??

I have 6 dogs at home my kennel floors are all rubber and 12 hounds on concrete runs in a different location I just use a splash of kennel wash ( £5 a gallon lasts for ages ) or something similar then hose it all out

I was unaware of that but stand to be corrected, containers says suitable for kennels but not to use around cats and allow to dry.
Its fine as long as kennel is dry before you let dog back in. It is more nasty than I realised though, used to use it for the chicken shed.

I use Trigene advance for my dog kennels and runs. I've seen first hand the effects of using unsuitable disinfectants many years ago.

+1 for Safe4 disinfectant. Buy it by the pallet and Safe4 offer mixing stations for it.

The main thing I look for is the product being DEFRA approved.

bactacare is also good. Virkon is very good, I believe is has a better kill on contact time than both other products, but Safe4 still ticks the boxes and the mixing stations make it effortless to mix to the correct dilution ratios.

Ive looked in to the sage system, but it’s not defra approved.
