It might be better if you revisited, and continued to work on, that: in some kind of attempt to reverse the otherwise-permanent damage to the firearms certification process which you've approved on behalf of your members - I among them.
I might be competely mistaken, but my feeling is that in a relatively short period of time it will become clear that Cllr Taylor's story will have had a smaller impact on the shooting public than our being walked by BASC into a position where we have to pay unspecified sums, in addition to the statutory fees, for medical involvement (the utility of which with respect to public safety remains unexamined) in the issuing of our certificates.
