Protective wrap for scopes?

If you need cammo on your scope, you don't need a scope, back up a bit.
None of the tapes will give any real " ding " protection and they may well absorb water or leave a residue, a neoprene boot or moderator cover might be a better solution.

On the one hand yes- or get a blued action.
On the other hand, speaking as someone that has a black synth stock (thanks GMK for snapping the wooden one) and 2-3x/yr shoots munties and fallow at 5-10m in woodland, I'm all for a little extra cam myself.

Vet wrap is brilliant and cheap, and once wrapped becomes a rubberised impact reducing bit of kit.
