Setback for Wild Justice.

My repeated faux pas ? Save Kes ?
Connor, you remind me of a child in the playground.
You and your organisations failings (note not faux pas) are legion and do not need further repetition, unlike your meaningless drivel about me.
Are you seriously suggesting I contact you to check facts ? You mean like the proof which was needed and then not needed about lead shot - I have quoted your personal words on this subject previously - once.
BASC has never apologised for anything it has either done, without consultation, or its simple but considerable failings - so why such profound attempts to get me to apologise ? Or were medicals and ten-year certs a success, etc etc etc
I will willingly apologise to the site owners for this pathetic distraction from he business of the forum. - to BASC, for anything - no - you have seriously lost it.
You have been with BASC all through these failings, so you are either part of the problem, or you have so little influence that you could not see or change the direction.
I suggest you read again your diatribe about Liverpool Council in the formal press releases and let everyone know how they responded to the 'child like' rant.
Probably rather like I have. I suggest you sharpen-up your interpersonal skills because I find them to be negligible, as I have said before in a post you PM'd me about - maybe you would like me to post that detail - which I so far have refused to do publicly ?
I suggest you move on.

As for BASC contributing to a positive future for shooting, I live much more in hope than any expectation,
If I can contribute to a positive future for shooting, I will, and one of the most important ways to do this is to expose failings, subsequently build a stronger reputation for openness and thus command the respect of those who support shooting organisations and those they interact with for the benefit of members, like the police, the Home Office etc.
Influence is earned not commanded to be given - you aren't helping.

You can squirm, rant and make empty threats all you like but that doesn't change the fact that you misled forum members with your post on the statutory firearms licensing guidance. Furthermore you then went on to ask people to contact BASC to ask if BASC was aware of the document - a document that in fact was subject to a high profile consultation last year that BASC responded to.

You refuse not only to apologise but to even admit you made a mistake. Furthermore doing background checks on me for your (non-factual) comments in this thread on badgers is also really weird behaviour.

Just read this from start to finish and it reminds me of so many other threads,

Round an round in circles

Come on admin do the deed please... Its a real shame that some genuine good posts in threads have to get ignored because of the same ole same ole.

"You can squirm, rant and make empty threats all you like" -

whatever you think (I have to say you are wrong on all counts).
I, at least, recognise continuing this exchange is pointless, childish and unwelcome to everyone else.
So continue, by all means but I wont be contributing to your posts again.
.
The empty threats you refer to resulted in "will not be posting again" according to Admin so - hardly empty.
Perhaps you recall or should I copy my PM ?

Where on earth do you get the idea that "good posts in threads have to get ignored?"

You, we, everyone read what they want - it is called freedom of speech. Calling on "admin do the deed please" is both needless and unethical. If you don't like what you read, stop reading.

If this bickering offends you (it does me, more often that it should) then take yourself off.

For my part, I like to read what all people post. If I didn't then I would live in an "Echo chamber" and how else would I recognise bullsh*t when I see it?

I do not speak for anyone else. I do not represent anyone else. I am not an elected "spokes-person" for any society, collective or union. More importantly - neither do I purport to be.
I speak for no one - but I can speak for myself.

Let those that do likewise, do so in the bright light of a public forum.

That way we all get to see who is disingenuous, misinformed, mischievous or just plain malevolent - you know who you are.

No. Shine a light on it Admin.
