I'm more than happy with mine.. great fit , great hold with the pistol grip..great trigger, plastic stock is grippy where it needs to be! Recoil pad is soft as fek so the 308 recoil is barely noticeable. Its not the lightest but its perfectly balanced! Provided u use a lightweight mod if any.. barrel seems to stay cool very effectively compared to standard barrels.
Magazine seems cheap n plasticy but it works so whats the problem
Seems to be pretty accurate as u can see with the pic of top 3 shot group.
Its no more capable than my a7 or t3 lite but I like it a hell of a lot more so good enough for me!

I would love to
@Border but The New Zealand reviews were done months ago and now that the rumoured pricing has become a reality, as usual with Sako products I won’t part with my hard earned for something that I regard as too expensive for what it is. I love the design but I can put a very accurate barrelled action into an alloy chassis for considerably less than the retail price of the S 20.
The thing that makes me laugh about so many forum comments is the wholesale dislike of modern materials. For someone like me who uses a rifle as a tool in every meteorological condition from snow to humid heat, who chucks the rifle in the rifle rack on the front of the quad, who uses it as a trekking pole to get up and down the muddy hills, polymer stocks and aluminium chassis are pretty much standard issue. A lot of shooters are obsessed with their rifle’s looks, which is no different to many aspects of design engineering. It’s the old function over form versus form over function argument. Each to their own and I look forward to hearing more reports from the field on how the S 20 delivers.
