Binocular Harness

These are excellent. Were you able to get them shipped to the UK? Or did you buy in the US? I really want one!!

Shipped from US to UK. No bother.

They usually have sales dependent on US holidays and hunting seasons so subscribe to their mailing list.

Well, just to update - I tried the swaro harness, not a fan...yes, it stops the binos swinging around but oneself on over my jacket, along with a z-aim sling I found I was straining against the straps to get it to my eyes and after a few hours I could feel the slight pressure with all the straps/slings ect. And just found it all a bit restrictive.

regards,
Gixer

Well took the Kuiu harness out stalking with me yesterday and all I can say is brilliant, I have been using the Swaro one with the flip cover that goes over the lenses and have to say the Kuiu one is miles ahead. Does work out expensive with the postage as said earlier but It is a great bit of kit.

Is it the Crooked Bino Caddy you have Jim about £19.
It has bushwear stamped on it . I have had it a few years so might not still be available. Price sounds about right(not certain) I have had it about five years lots of use and still going strong.

It means that the third-party outsourcing company which they use for sending out their orders don’t have any services set up with logistics companies who transport stuff from the US to Europe. Pretty poor if that’s the case.

I keep popping into these threads to check for SD member honest in-the-field experience of a full bino harnesses and can only assume the owners either do not sweat or are hesitant to admit they have found wearing a sports bra to be bl**dy uncomfortable.

K

Maybe they’re just used to wearing bras?

I appreciate the inclusivity of today’s world of deer stalking.

I used one (harness, not bra...) for the first time yesterday.

Very pleased overall. Had bins, rangefinder and thermal all attached. Made managing them extremely easy. Very comfortable and efficient. Was stalking very steep ground, and didn’t notice any extra sweat.

‘Game changer’ is over used, but I will say I’m definitely not giving it up now!

S**t!! Been meaning to order these as well.

Do any of the others on the market open to the front the same as these as that was the selling point for me?

The Red Kettle ones are very similar (seem like a very close copy).

Lack some of the functionality of the FHF ones, but work well, are very well made, are reasonably priced, and arrived in under 2 days. They do have a peculiar magnetic buckle that doesn't really work, but that is easily removed, and the hook-and-bungee works perfectly after that.

Then ordered an army surplus single ammo pouch, removed the internal divider, and use that for the thermal, hooked onto the harness on one side. Perfect.

Thanks but that looks to open from the rear. The Kuiu one flaps forward which I thought would be the way to go.
