Picked up a new rifle today, it took a while but well worth it.
Blaser K95 in 7x57R, open sights and no moderator, fitted with a Zeiss V8
Within an hour I had zeroed it and checked the factory ammo.
4 shots to get zero then 2 shots on a target to check it then ballistics into the binos and a quick check at 200m......so pleased with the recommended RWS factory ammo!!! (Cheers Marcus)
Thank you Simpson Brothers, a great team and the best gun shop with the most helpful friendly staff you could wish for, well worth a visit regardless of distance.

Lovely rifle mate. The K95 is a ridiculously excellent rifle. So accurate and beautiful I chuckle when i shoot mine as it’s so easy in every way, accurate light and just a joy to own and use.
I did offer mine for sale this year but I’m so glad I kept it

enjoy yours mate it’s a stunner

Cheers Uncle F, so light and tactile with soft recoil, I can't see me selling this rifle....ever!
Best thing is that in 7x57R you just need to tip the rifle up and it self-ejects, no fiddling about to eject the spent case :)

Now go hunting and use, but don’t abuse it. Get yourself a Lodencloth slip

Lodenfutterale | Hubertus GmbH

These work really well. Keeps the rifle nice and clean and protected, but silent and quick to slip of a shot.

And makes a good pad to sit on, or to cover rifle and your hands when sitting up waiting for something.

And don’t look too smug at all your stalking colleagues with their tacticool rifles weighing in at 15lbs plus. It’s cruel to outclimb, stalk and shoot them.

Mine came a week ago after a long wait. I can’t put it down! First beast with it last week. One to keep forever 👍
Stop it, how can I sleep tonight!
I feel like a kid at Christmas and as a grown up in his mid 50s I should know better
Lovely Buck and a beautiful set up, what caliber did you get?

Very nice, I have one in the same calibre. I home load Sierra Pro Hunter 140g, but I'm curious what RWS you're using ?

My intention is to home load 160g Game Kings but got a box of 123g RWS soft point rounds to get me going until I have settled on a load

Mine is a beast, it’s in 7x65R with a trigger so light a bad thought sets it off and a truly horrendous recoil.
I could manage the trigger or the recoil on their own but I just can’t handle both.
Trigger isn’t user adjustable either.
It does look good tho’
