Is anyone wise in the way of pickup canopies?!

How’do!

Perhaps an odd question but here goes - recently bought a used Nissan Navara Pickup which came complete with a matching canopy. The vehicle came to me via an SD member and from a friend of his beforehand but that guy also bought it used from a Ford Dealer so no knowledge of the original owner. Anyhoo..... is there any way of working out the manufacturer of the canopy? Long story short - the high level brake light on the canopy spoiler is cracked - it still works but the spoiler itself (which is a weird softish type of material) has warped over time and cracked the mounting of the light. I’m ideally looking to replace the spoiler and brake light rather than buy a whole new canopy as there’s otherwise nothing wrong with it.

i can’t find any form of manufacturers mark on the canopy - the gas struts and the glass have printing on them but relevant to the manufacture of the glass and the struts only. The only other marking is inside on of the windows is a little sticker saying “Navara”.

Any ideas would be gratefully received....

TIA as ever!

Does the key to the canopy say anything on it?
No - just blank. The key looks similar to a carryboy one to be fair - but then again it looks quite similar to several replacement locks I’ve seen :/ The 4x4 people I’ve emailed who sell the Aeroklas stuff also do carryboy so hopefully it’ll be one or the other!

Sorry, doesn’t look the style of key I’ve seen before. I’m sure the spare parts place will be able to help, or point you to someone who can.

If you are going to remove the spoiler why not just get an after market break light sure there will be something about

If you haven't done so already, I would get in touch with the chaps at 4x4AT . They're at Leeming, and are the go-to hardtop people as far as I know. They're also a pleasure to deal with.

Aye - that’s who I’ve emailed in fairness - looks similar to a few that they have so hopefully get a reply Monday!
