The wam worked well tonight !!?? but unfortunately i didn't, the little hornet missed it's trick, a sitter at 70 odd yards !! 
I'm glad the call went well, he came in from about 250 yards ! Why tonight and not other night's, who knows !!mickjgardner

terrier man down here took a vixen with born cubs a few weeks ago
A few foxes that have recently been called in and dealt with,using the foxsqueak caller, the shooter is barrelsniffer my shooting partner , The 1st photo was in North wales on a chicken farm, all foxes shot, within 2hours from the start, the 2nd photo was in Cumbria in February this year,and some random pictures including Night vision,

Just another tip, i find a highseat works very well in tandem with the bait station and if i shoot a fox early on in the day i leave it lying there as i've shot several cubs that came looking for the vixen and visa versa

you need to wait until aug for the easier ones .i find i get most off mine then and every easy called even during day light..
High seats are very good for foxing as tikka says set up a bait point nearby and away you go.
A variation on the drainpipe bait point can be a shallow pit put rabbit guts in it and peg down wire netting over it, if you are not there the fox will eventually get a reward but when you are in attendance it takes them some time to shift tne netting. Also if using dead chickens tie them to a peg to slow them down.

dont forget the scewer guys just thread carcases on a large road pin and push into the ground ,got mine 100 yrds from the back door just have a look when commercals come on the telly or when the dogs bark !
Crikey! When i was a lot younger all the stalkers round here used to start the dens about the 15th -20th April,hoping to get the vixen in situ with very young cubs, and bolt her to the guns.Over the years i`ve started going later,nearer the end of April. 2yrs ago i got a den with cubs on the 7th May and the cubs were new born! It seems that the foxes in this area are having their cubs later than they used to. However after saying all that ,the one thing foxy does well, is to keep you guessing

I do that but I gave up using carcases as they just rip them or enough of them off to **** off with it.
now a tin of open dog/cat food on a coat hanger tethered to the ground works well. had a couple of cats in my sights in the past though......

its not the spike that gives way its the carcase. using wire and it slices through the meat the harder the fox pulls
