Dog leg involuntary movement .

When my cocker lies in a certain position on her side the leg without weight on it has an occasional involuntary kick this only happens when she is in that position.
Any ideas appreciated thanks.

This is harder than the normal kick they do when asleep it annoys her and she goes to bite the offending leg

How old is she? Could she have arthritis starting?
My old terrier did very similar biting leg joints a change of diet to fully raw mostly chicken carcass stopped the pain issues.
