Angle of deflection

Of course there are “degrees” of richochet but anything travelling at 2500+fps at a shallow angle will bounce! Most stalkers/foxers have at some time heard the dreaded whine and sweated blood as a result. The simple moral is - if it looks in any way dodgy - leave it.

What do the high seat guys consider a safe angle of deflection? Let's assume your shooting out on a flat field.

There really isn’t one, there’s always a chance of a bounce. Best you can hope for is that it stays within 45degrees or so but for sure they all don’t.
