My Introduction

Hi All, I would like to join the Deer stalking directory as it was strongly recommended to me by some of my shooting companions. I have been shooting since the age of 13, I am now 60!, I started using centre fire rifles in 2007, initially for fox control on a friends pheasant shoot. I started with a .222 and .22 rimfire, after a couple of years I got invited to take part in some deer stalking, so I part exchanged the .222 for a .243, the rest as they say is history. I stalk in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, we have Roe, Fallow, and Muntjac on our grounds. I still enjoy the occasional days pheasant shooting both on peg and walked up, I have a Working Cocker Spaniel trained for this. I used to do a lot Pigeon shooting ,this is something I will be getting back into, I had a message from a local landowner telling me he is putting in 200 acres of peas in the spring, this should provide me with plenty of opportunities.
Many Thanks MrD50

Welcome hope the peas work out for you been a little disappointing hear, apart from eating a few whilst sitting in the hide.
