The point may well be that an investigation should have taken place to confirm or deny the truth of the rumours, which have effectively split the country down the middle. No court cases just a local investigation.
If the family of the 'black lives matter' guy can get £27M in compensation, surely democracy is worth a few investigations. Precedents, precedents or is that Presidents, Presidents.

(I do know the settlement is at state level.)
Exactly what most sane and intelligent people suggested . Unfortunately , neither party , when in power , ever does it . There are fraudsters , not all members , but enough , in both parties that do it . It would be politically embarrassing to everyone involved , don't hold your breath .

In his first 48 hours of office President Biden signed 30 executive orders, 14 of which targeted a broad range of Trump's delusional ideas.

The remainder were aimed at implementing emergency measures at some small issues, you know yourself, things like coping with the pandemic and the economic crisis.
Really? The blocking of the Keystone Pipeline and now the delay in the landswap for the Resolution Copper Project is going to cost the USA economy plenty. There is now a crisis at the mexican border again as the caravans are ramping up with a couple of hundred un accompanied children which are now being accepted rather than returned if they have no parent with them.

I already seen first hand what a clear strong border policy does, when its revoked and when its re-instated. The USA will be no different.

Don't forget to wear your double mask and nod at whatever Dr Fauci says.

Yeah, really.

With respect to our friends across the water, their electoral system does appear open to significant levels of fraud. That does seem somewhat ironic, bearing in mind their government's passion (particularly those of a Democrat flavour) for bringing democracy to various parts of the world (and we all know how well that's worked out).

As for Biden, the difference between him and his predecessor appears to be that at least his predecessor was capable of formulating mens rea for his actions. Why Biden sat out most of the election campaign in his cellar is possibly clearer now.

I just spent 30 minutes scanning those executive orders. If there are 14 executive orders that directly revoke what delusional policies the previous administration had it is certainly not clear what they are. Maybe one in immigration of children on the southern border but the others who knows. For example the Aluminium imports is definately to stop chinese dumping of cheap aluminium which has been going globally for some time and putting smaller producers in the USA, Australia, NZ and Wales out of business.

Maybe you should try and read them yourself and reconcile what you just posted.

Looking forward to the upcoming summit with Brezhnev, they might both need a bit of a ‘prompt‘ from their ’interpreters’ though...

: Somebody knocks at the door of B’s office. B walks to the door, sets glasses on his nose, fetches a piece of paper from his pocket and reads, "Who's there?"

Not sure about his Russian counterpart (who?) but just watched a critique of Biden’s “problem” on that organ of truth “Fox News” and setting aside the bias (wot?), the clips shown of his failure to engage (what Press conference?) and on those rare occasions when he does - his need for “idiot boards” together do suggest, sadly, that something is not right in terms of the lift, sorry, escalator not making it to the top floor, sorry storey, sorry story, sorry level.
Are we having a re-run of good ol’Ronnie here - “the president’s brain is missing etc.......”? A tad worrying but if I was the Vice I would keep the lipstick and slap handy and the limo engine running. Be afraid chaps, be very afraid!

Pelosi made no secret of it ,Biden is the step up for the first black woman president.
knowing after her public calls for attacks on the police during black lives matters protests middle America wouldn't have voted her in.
The "leader of the free world " has a rotten to the core system of voting but it will never be overhauled as it suits both sides 🤔

Most of our clients who come to our place are financially-astute, Republican-voting business-owners. They're also nice guys who pay their taxes and give to the Church. Almost to a man, they are currently expressing abject terror at what they see as America's march towards socialism under Biden/Harris. As a Brit, I am not competent to validate their ideas one way or the other; however, this is a level of fear I have never seen before in that demographic.

My gawd. The bitter, twisted, thwarted members on the forum are now homing in on US politics for want of another target.
I for one am fed up reading all these rants day after day.

One Aussie squatter is ejected from the 'Off Topic' forum temporarily, and another appears in his place. Isn't there any sunlight shining out in your little world?

Your post above shows you've been looking at the recent time period, so are seeing nothing (i.e. your date parameters are wrong).

Work your way through this little lot & the links before spouting off. For a senile old idiot Bioden is doing rather well, but he has slowed down a wee bit of late.:)

It must be so hard for those wealthy law abiding customers of yours to cope, is there not some way that financially astute business owners such as them could just choose for the rest of the paupers who should be in charge?

It doesn't seem a bit fair that people in that demographic should be governed by someone who was chosen by people of less financial means just because those people were in a majority and had audacity to use their right to vote.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wealthy, Church sponsoring customers at what is now a plain to see harrowing time for ye all.

May St. Matthew the Apostle and patron saint of financial matters look down upon ye all and give ye the strength, hope and courage to cope in these fearful times.

Bitter and twisted because I read the executive orders that neither you or Fair Hill have read? Ok then. If the dates the first link allowed a month so plenty of time from his inauguration to include his 48 hours in office as it has a few of his predecessor's in there.

Your derangement syndrome runs strong. I think the order on aluminum imports by Biden is a continuation of the pressure on the Chinese trade is a good one but obviously isn't one of the 14 orders to revoke the previous administration policies.

"March towards socialism" - American have no idea what socialism is.
The Republican party is somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun and the Democrats are essentially the same as the Conservatives in the UK
Even the "socialist antifa left wing progressives" in Democratic party are are about as far to the left as the Tony Blair wing of the UK Labour party
They are nowhere near socialism and never will be.

Cheers

Ask the average US voter to explain the difference between socialism and communism, they are not aware there is a difference

They are operating within their own frame of reference. It doesn't really work to overlay a UK paradigm.

What I find particularly interesting is that ordinary smart Republicans (or at least the ones I know), who in more sane times would grumpily tolerate the Democrats taking their turn in the oval office, are utterly horrified by the Biden/Harris show. These are people I like and respect: they are not loons.

What I can't yet work out is whether these normal blokes have somehow been radicalised by Trumpism (which would surprise me), or whether there really is something 'un-American' about the new administration. Either way, I do think the nuances of America's current struggle with political and social division are passing well over the heads of us Brits.
